I'm a London based Freelance Apparel Designer with a passion for sustainable & ethical fashion. I began my career in sportswear, designing men's & women's sports-fashion / lifestyle for renowned global sports brands.  After experience gained within the sports arena I transferred my skills from the north of England to London into high street womenswear. Initially working with Whitestuff as a Senior Designer & then Head of Design for several years before returning to the sports industry. In 2006 I moved to Puma as Senior Design Manager, leading design across their women's international fitness collections & SMU projects for UK & European sports multiples. Having gained a wide breadth of industry experience, in 2008 I became a Freelance Design Consultant. I am a multi-product designer skilled in women's & kidswear with over 20 years experience working with global brands including J Barbour & Sons, Puma, Next, Reebok & Whitestuff as well as many years experience as a contracted Design Manager for a renowned Asia supplier to UK, European & International markets. Working in partnership with the Shanghai merchandising & senior management teams, aiding in all creative roles, client communications & production management for their large client portfolio: Boden, Hush, Whitestuff, John Lewis & Partners, J Barbour & Sons, Jack Wills, Scamp & Dude, Crew Clothing, Fat Face, Weird Fish, Joules, Abercrombie & Fitch, Hollister, Bravissimo, WoolOvers, Truly, Mistral, Blazewear & BAM.
